In a nutshell, what is ArrowOutlet?

ArrowOutlet is an auction deals website that aims to making shopping for electronics more fun, exciting, and affordable for consumers. With the latest cool electronics costing hundreds or thousands of dollars, buyers worldwide spend immense amounts of time looking for low prices. ArrowOutlet uses an innovative auction system to deliver these low prices.

Old auction websites like eBay or Amazon have no restrictions on bidding, leading to high end prices. Just to take an example – a PS3 routinely sells for over $300. The new ArrowOutlet system reduces competitor’s bids through a small fee paid for each bid. The resulting lower prices are clear – just browse our completed auctions.

So browse around! Look for an item that you really like – imagine that PS3 in your living room for under $20 or that HDTV for under $50. Then go ahead and buy some bids, and let the fun begin!

Does ArrowOutlet make excessive profits on its bids?

One misconception is that ArrowOutlet makes large amount of money on each auction. In fact, our net profits are less than 5%, and there are many days on which ArrowOutlet loses money.

There are many reasons why ArrowOutlet doesn’t make as large profits as expected. First, ArrowOutlet loses money on 53% of all auctions that it has put up in the past. This is because ArrowOutlet can’t control when an auction ends, and if it ends with extremely low price, ArrowOutlet eats the losses. So, if we make $10 of profits on that USB stick we auctioned off, most of those profits go to cover, say, the $100 loss on that undersold PS3.

Further, ArrowOutlet also incurs costs in ensuring it provides the best service possible to customers. We maintain a dedicated support line in the US, serviced wholly by US Citizens with college degrees. We also expend a huge amount of effort in negotiating with suppliers to ensure that the end prices that we get are the lowest possible – so we can effectively pass the savings on to you.

How is ArrowOutlet different from an auction like eBay?

Our auctions are a lot better for you in several ways: -Because placing a bid increases the time left by 15 seconds, no one can snipe the auction at the last second without giving you a opportunity to response.

-You don't need more money than other bidders to win the auction. Just bid with a good strategy and you can win an auction with just one bid!

-Even if you don't win an auction, you can immediately buy the item at our Value Price minus the total price of your bids.
