This router offers up to twice the wireless coverage of older Wireless-G routers, which means that areas in your home that weren't receiving wireless signals--such as the basement and attic--may now be covered.

Additionally, when you use the RangeMax 150 with Wireless-N devices such as Wireless-N notebooks, the NETGEAR WN111 RangeMax Wireless-N USB 2.0 Adapter or the WN511B Notebook Adapter, you'll experience up to five times the speed of older Wireless-G devices.

Backwards Compatibility with Older Devices

While providing greater range when used with Wireless-G devices and faster speeds when paired with Wireless-N devices, the RangeMax 150 router is also backwards compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g devices. So you'll be certain that all your wireless devices will continue to work with your new router.

Four Wired Ethernet Ports

For computers that need the security and consistency of a wired connection or don't have wireless capability, the RangeMax 150 also features five 10/100 (one WAN, four LAN) Ethernet ports with auto-sensing technology.

Secure Wireless Connections at the Push of a Button

With support for WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), the RangeMax 150 lets you create a secure wireless connection by simply pushing a button. The router also supports WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, and WEP, so you'll have a secure wireless connection with any of your wireless devices.

The router itself provides protection from the outside world with double firewall protection including Network Address Translation (NAT) and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI).
